Volunteer Fire Fighter: Module II
This course is based on NFPA 1001: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. The Certified Volunteer Fire Fighter Module courses prepare the student for the Volunteer Fire Fighter State Certification Examination. The course is highly structured to provide academic information through a series of lectures and demonstrations augmented with visual aids. Practical skills are developed with a specified degree of proficiency through selected manipulative evolutions. Specific subject topics covered in Volunteer Fire Fighter Module II include: Portable Fire Extinguishers, Ropes and Knots, Ground Ladders, Forcible Entry, and Structural Search and Rescue. This course is recommended for all Volunteer Fire Fighters.
