Volunteer Fire Fighter (Task Book)

Prerequisites

• 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate the English language
• Physical Statement - AFC & PSEC Form 05 - Per the Alabama Administrative Code (Chapter 360-X-1), This form must be completed and submitted prior to beginning any certification training leading to certification as a Fire Fighter or Volunteer Fire Fighter.
• Prior to certification as a Volunteer Fire Fighter the student should complete the following:
  - Peer Support Awareness course completion
  - NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800
  - Traffic Incident Management (TIMs) training
  - (Pro Board or IFSAC) Certified Hazardous Materials/WMD Awareness and Operations
