Illicit Drug Response Awareness

This course is designed to educate a wide range of individuals who may encounter illicit drug manufacturing laboratories in the course of their work. It is intended for property maintenance workers, environmental protection staff, law enforcement officers, firefighters, hazardous material responders, emergency management and medical services personnel, and other public sector workers. The training covers critical topics such as the dangers of methamphetamine and its production methods, how to recognize and identify meth labs and other drug-related setups, conducting hazard and risk assessments, and recognizing a variety of drugs and lab types. This comprehensive approach ensures participants are better prepared to safely identify and respond to potentially hazardous drug lab situations.
