Topics covered include: types of Electric Vehicles, construction features and identification of Electric Vehicles, burning of lithium-ion batteries, thermal runaway, fire behavior of lithium-ion batteries, suppression of Electric Vehicle battery packs, charging station layouts and hazards, tools available to fire service related to Electric Vehicles, case studies, tactical considerations for scenarios involving Electric Vehicles, Emergency Response Guides, High Voltage Disconnects, and Extrication Hazards.
