DESCRIPTION:Fire Chaplain Training Event: “Basics of Fire Chaplaincy” presented by the Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains \n\nDownload a flyer\nRegister online\nMore info\n\n\nSponsored by AFFC\, this Fire Chaplaincy training event is a one-day training event highly recommended for those interested in fire chaplaincy\, beginning their fire chaplaincy\, bringing a chaplain into their department\, or in the fields of public safety\, law enforcement\, disaster response\, healthcare\, homeland security\, spiritual care\, etc. This course will introduce emergency services chaplaincy\, how to get a fire chaplaincy started\, an overview on Critical Incident Stress Management\, Psychological First Aid\, and more. \nThis event is August 16th at Muscle Shoals Regional Training Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ALL current Active Members are FREE. Non-members are $25. Price includes the training course and materials as well as lunch\, snacks\, and drinks. Early registration is required. The last day to register is August 12th\, so we can have everything ready in time. \nNon-members may pay with a money order or check to Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains via mail by August 1st or in person on the day of training. You may also pay via Venmo or Cash App after submitting your online registration.
