This course meets the Level I and II requirements of NFPA 1225 (1061): Standard for Emergency Services Communications. It is designed for the individual whose primary responsibility is to receive, process, or disseminate information of a public safety nature via telecommunication devices.
Due to the NFPA standard change, the Public Safety Telecommunicator course will now be certified under NFPA 1225: Standard for Emergency Services Communications. The effective date of this change will be January 1, 2024.
Prerequisites:
18 years of age; Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
