RT: Vehicle Extrication II & Machinery Extrication II

This course is based on NFPA 1006: Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications. Participants may receive certification for Rescue Technician: Vehicle Extrication I and certification for Rescue Technician: Machinery Rescue I. Vehicle Extrication II is designed to offer a combination of classroom and practical evolutions that allow the student to learn proper techniques to plan for a commercial/heavy vehicle incident, stabilize commercial/heavy vehicles, determine the heavy vehicle access and egress points, create access and egress openings, disentangle victim(s), isolate and manage potentially harmful energy sources. Machinery Extrication II is designed to offer a combination of classroom and practical evolutions that allow the student to learn proper techniques to plan for a large machinery incident, stabilize large machinery, determine large machinery access and egress points, create access and egress openings, disentangle victim(s), given a Level II extrication incident.
