Public Fire & Life Safety Educator I
This course is based on NFPA 1035: Standard on Fire and Life Safety Educator, Public Information Officer, Youth Firesetter Intervention Specialist, and Youth Firesetter Program Manager Professional Qualifications. The course is designed for the individual who will coordinate and deliver comprehensive community fire and injury prevention programs designed to eliminate or mitigate situations that endanger lives, health, property, or the environment.
Due to the NFPA 1030, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Prevention Program Positions standard change, the Public Fire and Life Safety Educator series will be transitioning to Fire and Life Safety Educator.
