Natural Gas Emergencies
This course is designed to provide the first responder with the general awareness of natural gas emergencies. The participants will be presented with classroom information and case study work to better understand the dangers of responding to incidents involving gas emergencies.
Properties of natural gas and how it relates to propane gas properties;
Responding to natural gas leak calls inside and outside the utility perspective;
Causes and likelihood of natural gas distribution accidents upstream of customer meter;
Natural gas distribution 101: From the city gate station to the customer meter;
