Broomball Tournament to Support Camp Conquest

by Staff | Feb 19, 2018
The City of Pelham, Pelham Fire Department, and Pelham Local 5049 are partnering with the Pediatric Burn Foundation of America to support Camp Conquest.

Camp Conquest was founded in 2000 with a mission to respond to the needs of pediatric burn survivors. We provide a week long summer camp at Children’s Harbor in Alexander City. The camp provides activities which improve self‐esteem, confidence, physical abilities and range of motion. Children are able to establish friendships, learn essential values and leave with an overall well‐being.

This Broomball tournament is being put on to help support the children ages 6‐17 years of age who have been hospitalized with burn injuries that will be invited to attend camp at no cost to the camper or family.

As the hosting venue, the Pelham Civic Center and Ice Arena will provide helmets, brooms and balls for the tournament. Those playing will need to provide pads.

The tournament begins at 11:00am and is a Round Robin with Playoffs and Championship

We are encouraging Fire Departments, Police Departments, Corporate Business, high schools, colleges, anyone who can form a team of 10 to participate.

We also welcome sponsors to offset any expenses or to donate directly to the Pediatric Burn Foundation.

Entry Fee $200.00 per team
