Rescue Technician: Confined Space Refresher
A course
designed to provide hands on training that will allow students to stay up to
date in the field of confined space rescue. The course will consist
primarily of outside skills practice of the pertinent job performance
requirements of the NFPA 1006, Standard for Rescue Technician
Professional Qualifications. Practical
sessions focus on the three primary hazards associated with confined space
rescue: physical, atmospheric, and physiological.
Note:
This is a very physically
demanding course which requires you to be in good physical condition.
Special Equipment Required:
NFPA compliant full turnout gear with SCBA, hard
hat, fire helmet, PASS device, gloves, coveralls, knee pads, and elbow pads
(optional)
