Emergency Response to Hazardous Materials Incidents, 2002 edition.

This course is designed to provide the incident commander with the knowledge and
skills to perform their role as the person responsible for all decisions
relating to the management of the incident. The candidate will learn about
personal protective clothing, decontamination, branch functions with the
Incident Management System, and the overall tactics to properly mitigate a
hazardous materials incident. This course meets the NFPA 472 Standard (2002)
for Hazardous Materials and is accredited by the National Board on Fire Service
Professional Qualifications.
