FIRE FIGHTER II
A course
accredited by the Pro Board.
A course designed for the Fire Fighter I who
is ready to assume more of a leadership role in a department. This course
consists of classes designed to give the student more knowledge of fire
ground situations so that he / she can make basic evaluations of safety
problems and assume leadership roles in carrying out interior attack and
search operations. Hazardous Material Operations is taught as one of the
blocks of this course, preparing the student to participate in defensive
leak and spill control operations. This training course meets the
requirements of the NFPA 1001, Standard for Fire Fighter Professional
Qualifications, 2002 edition. See
