Basic Pump Operations
The Basic Pump course is designed to
familiarize the student with basic principles of pump operation and
maintenance.
Specific course topics include:
fundamentals
for pump operation;
theory of drafting;
maintenance; and
calculating
fire stream requirements with emphasis on basic rule-of-thumb methods.
NOTE:
outside activities are also included.
