Alabama Smoke Diver
This course leads the fire fighter to a better understanding of the
capabilities of their SCBAs and their personal physical limitations.
This is a rigorous and realistic program. This scenario-based
course will emphasize safety and the incident command system while
working as a team member in various activities.

NFPA- compliant turnout gear, SCBA, spare bottle PASS device
flashlight, knee pads, stopwatch.
Prerequisite:
Fire Fighter I;
a medical information questionnaire will be completed on the
first day of the course.

NOTE:
Because the course is physically demanding, the participants must be in
good physical condition. Certain information submitted on the medical
information questionnaire may preclude the student's participation in
the course.
