Apparatus Operator: Pumper
A certification course
accredited by the Pro Board.
Meets the
requirements of chapter 2 and 3 of NFPA 1002, Standard for Apparatus
Operator Professional Qualifications, 2003 edition.

This
course is designed for the fire fighter who wishes to advance to the next
level of his/her profession. This course consists of six modules: Preventive
Maintenance, Test and Inspections, Driving/Operating, Water Supply,
Sprinklers and Standpipes, and Operations.
Note:
This is a very physically demanding
course which requires you to be in good physical condition.

Course Fee: $295.00 In-State; $495 Out-of-State/Industrial
Course Hours: 40
Prerequisite: Certified Fire Fighter I or certified volunteer Fire
Fighter, valid drivers license, and documentation of 16 hours of apparatus
driving that must be completed and documented by
the student at their department prior to attending class.
Skill Sheets 1-5 are used to document the 16 hour training.
