Hazardous Materials Technician Skills

The Performance Evaluation Skill Sheets below must be utilized in all Hazardous Materials Technician courses. These skills meet all the skill requirements of NFPA 472, Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents, 2002 edition. ProBoard requires that the evaluator grading the skills tests must NOT be the instructor that taught that segment of instruction.

Please submit a Performance Evaluation Grade Sheet for each student in your class to the test proctor at the end of the course. The individual Performance Evaluation Skill Sheets should be kept for your own records. Students must receive a passing grade on all skills in order to take the Hazardous Materials Technician certification test.
