What do I need to
teach NIMS in the Fire Department?
The
NIMS ICS for the Fire Service (F806) courses required to teach:
The CD Labeled “NIMS” that was distributed at
the AFC NIMS Train-the-Trainer Course contains a folder labeled NIMS ICS for FS. Inside the folder
will be all of the materials that you need to teach the course except the DVD entitled “In Command”.
The DVD can be ordered through the Lending Library by calling Larry Jarvis or email

AFC Field Course Forms
The following forms
must be used by departments to request and schedule courses:
Alabama Fire College Registration form
Mandatory for each student to maintain
Alabama Fire College record keeping.
Field Course Application
Revised 1/7/04 The schedule
attached completed with the hours, date, topic, and instructor's name. Please note if you need
bubble forms and how many.
Instructor Information
Revised 8/05/05 Complete this form only if the
instructor is different from the course coordinator.

NFA Forms
75-5-A
Short Form from NFA
is available online.
Mail these forms along with the final class roster and AFC registration sheet to AFC Field Training.
Test given inhouse:
The NFA 75-5-A forms and the final Class Roster Sheets should be mailed to AFC Field Training.
You do not have to send the originals if you fax in your request.
