9/11 Memorial Service
On the morning of September 11, 2007, the Alabama Fire College held a memorial service marking the sixth anniversary of the terrorists’ attack that destroyed the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers.  More 9/11/07

AFC Recruits Complete "SCBA Week"
Monday of SCBA week starts just as the Friday before, with two consumption laps. These laps actually seem easier, the recruit has eaten and rested well all weekend. The recruit is glad he decided to come back from the weekend. Group work starts and the burn building is heated to make the exercises more realistic.  More 10/1/07

Additional Rescue Technician; Vehicle & Machinery course scheduled
To meet the increased demand for technical rescue training the Alabama Fire College has scheduled an additional course. The course is scheduled for November 26 – 29, 2007. More 8/20/07

Alabama Fire College Attends the AAVFD 30th Annual Conference
Larry Jarvis, Field Training Director, Jerri Ayers, Public Education Specialist, and Rena Jarvis attended the AAVDF Conference in Mobile August 3–4, 2007. As in the past when it has been held in Mobile, the conference was well attended and well organized. Congratulations and thanks to the Mobile County Fire Fighters Association for a job well done.
