Drill Field Site
Drill Tower
– This four story building has 4100 square feet of space. It has a
simulated boiler used in confined space rescue & hazardous materials
rescue. On the third floor of the drill tower is a maze used in SCBA
training to help test confidence and consumption use. The drill tower
features interior stairs and exterior stairs, and has a standpipe system in
the stairwell. Also, it has a roof hydrant and a working elevator. The
drill tower is used for high angle rescue training, ladder training, hose
advancement, and elevator rescue training.

Smoke
Building – This
two-story, 2600 square feet state-of-the-art structure is heated by Natural
gas. Its features include an automatic ventilation system, heat detectors,
automatic heat shutoff, interior stairs and exterior stairs. The Smoke
Building is used for SCBA training, fire suppression evolutions, search and
rescue, ladder training, as well as many other uses.
Flammable Liquids Simulator
– This simulator is fired by natural gas and LP gas. It simulates a 15 by
30 feet fuel spill. The flammable liquids simulator is remotely control
from elevated platform, to ensure the safety of the students at all times.
It is used for teaching extinguishing applications.

Pressurized Gas
Simulator – This
simulator is fueled by natural and LP gas, and simulates a flange blowout.
Also know as the Christmas Tree, this simulator is used to teach valve
isolation.
